2014 March 01 - Frown
This kid's frown is amazing!
2014 March 02 - Rise
The steepest rise in the Western Hemisphere can be seen from my living room window!
2014 March 03 - Ingenuity
When you need to clean up the glitter but you have no vacuum, what do you do? You wrap tape around your hands the "wrong" way and get to it! I love my students!
2014 March 04 - Alone
While I was moving things around the house, today, I turned around and saw this stool. It seemed so lonely.
2014 March 05 - балала́йка/Bailalaika
The fretboard of my piccolo bailalaika.
2014 March 06 - Reach
Early morning football practice!
2014 March 07 - Exit
Sometimes, when you want one the most, you can't find it.
2014 March 08 - Frog
One of the many frogs hiding (or not) outside of my house...this one turns on the water!
2014 March 09 - Art
The electrical boxes around Desert Hot Springs have been turning up painted, recently. Although I've never seen this species of owl in the area, I still appreciate the public art!
2014 March 10 - Progress
It may not look like much, but for the past two years this little area in my house had been collecting a variety of books, papers, and various items resisting categorization. Now that I'm done with my M.A., I am making progress on returning a semblance of order to my home...
2014 March 11 - Stream
There's something fascinating about capturing the water during a swimming competition...!
2014 March 12 - Clean
I'd just about forgotten how nice it was to drive in a CLEAN car! It feels like it's new, again!
2014 March 13 - Catch
I was able to get out to one of our team's away games, this afternoon!
2014 March 14 - Dream
The American Dream? Watch the results after it has crumbled in Sam Shepard's "Buried Child"!
2014 March 15 - Quixote 2
Quixote, a.k.a. "Q" and "Cacahuate," is one of my home's watchdogs. Definitely aware and protective of his surroundings, but it's best if he leaves the guarding to the larger hounds!
2014 March 16 - Waokiye
Another electrical box painted with the image of "Waokiye," or "Traditional Helper," a wooden statue on display at the local Cabot Yerxa Pueblo Museum.
2014 March 17 - Aïda
The oldest animal in the house at somewhere over 18 years old, Aïda is the grand dame of her surroundings. Usually found perched on top of my mother's cabinet but occasionally lowering herself to receive pets as needed.
2014 March 18 - Cross
Another of the religious icons hanging on my wall.
2014 March 19 - Tests
In preparation for a standardized test...
2014 March 20 - Slide
I'm sure there are as many ways to recognize the Vernal Equinox as there are people, one way is to catch a Baseball Game...especially when it's your school's team and they win!
By the way, he was safe!
2014 March 21 - Focus
On the evening on which their Spring Break begins, these hearty souls volunteered to sing the National Anthem at the 2014 SBBCollege Graduation Ceremony and were AMAZING!
2014 March 22 - Catch
A nice catch made by one of our school's softball players.
2014 March 23 - Hallow
New roommate - new tattoo to photograph.
2014 March 24 - Growth
Despite the drought, there is some new growth along the Indian Canyons trails in Palm Springs!
2014 March 25 - Carousel
At the Wynn Resort in Las Vegas, this carousel was made entirely of flowers. It was fairly impressive...and fragrant!
2014 March 26 - Pegasus
Another horse-type creature in Las Vegas. This one was made of marble, as far as I could tell, had wings, and looked to be a little more energetic than the last!
2014 March 27 - Gift
One of the designs on a flute given to me by a close friend.
2014 March 28 - Old/New
A little less than cosmetically perfect, but this refurbished camera is my new challenge/baby!
2014 March 29 - Left
Playing with my new toy, a little...eyes are pretty amazing.
